  1. [App] Review of all learnt cards. Hands free too!

I propose that we could have a review session of "favourite cards" to gauge if we can recall them all in the one sitting. Similar to the hands free review, but using every chosen words once with the “correct” or “incorrect” self review so results can be viewed at the end.

Being able to do use these cards on hands free mode would be great too!

Thank you all for having voted for this suggestion!

With the latest update, you can add listen to your “favorite” cards in the hands-free mode.

You can add cards to your Favorites list during a review or learning session by turning over the card, clicking on the (i) button, then clicking the heart icon. Otherwise, you can add cards from the Explore menu by clicking on the card, and then on the heart icon.

Then, in the settings of the hands-free mode, you can select “favorite cards” to listen to them anytime you want.

Thank you again and enjoy it!

  3. [Lang] Mosalingua Dutch / Nederlands

I'd love to have such an app to learn Dutch this way. I'm sure many will join me.

    Best regards. Arthur.

  4. [Lang] MosaLingua Luxembourgeois

I think that it would be very interesting to have such an app. Today it simply doesn't exist even if it concerns a fraction of belgian, french and german people who are working in Luxembourg. The efficiency of the SRS method would be of a great help to rapidly master the basis of this language.

  5. [App] A speed control to slow down the teachers voice (or speed up) so to better learn how to pronounce words and phrases

A speed control bar (like the volume control) to slow down the speaker so to hear and understand what they are pronouncing.

  10. [App] Distinguish your gender, to help learning languages where it changes

I’m learninh Spanish but all the cards and words are in the version of the word that would be used by a male. So I’m basically talking like I am a man and confusing people. All the languages are taught in only the male version of speech (with female variant being written on the card). We should be able to choose which gender we are and have cards that we should actually use, not just being taught to pronounce the male version.

  11. [App] Deleting flashcards

Being a novice, I accidentally added some flashcards that only have meaning inside their original context and none whatsoever outside it. Examples: “Yes, I do” -> “Oui, c’est vrai” or “Good for you” -> “C’est bien” or “I’m really excited” -> “Je suis impatient”. As far as I can see, there is no way to delete those flashcards from my list. Or am I missing something?

  12. [App] Include a complete sentence for each word card

On each card, use the vocabulary word in a sentence or phrase. Many cards already have this, but it would be nice to have it on every card.

  13. [App] Dialogs: please extend the functionality

    1. allow to slow down speech
    2. add a ‘single step mode’. Here the user can:
    3. hear the actual station as often as he wants
    4. tip on the written words of the dialogue, to toggle the language. (This would be a really great help!)
    5. add a backspace- and forward button to rehear the former station and to move freely within this dialogue

  15. [APP] Individual word translation

Put also the pronunciation of the words when we touch them, because it would help to memorize better with the individual pronounces of the words since it is not always possible to hear correctly the pronunciation together.

  19. [App] Publish MosaLingua in alternative Android store

I have a smartphone using an alternative OS: not Android but SailfishOS developed by Jolla... SailfishOS can run android applications but doesn't have access to Google PlayStore... I really would like to buy MosaLingua on my smartphone but I need it available in alternative android stores such as Yandex (or even Amazon).

  20. [App] Would be great if you could choose a time you want to get remembered to learn in the App

Now i get remembered to learn 24 h after i learned the last time, so if i learn very late one day i might forget to learn because the app remembers me when i already sleep. It would be good if i could choose a time i want to be remembered every day-shouldnt be to difficult to implement
