Allow testing/reviewing whenever you want
I love the spaced repetition. But sometimes you want to do some extra study. Have some spare time and there are no cards ready for review. It would be great to choose say the top 5,10,15 etc cards you have had most difficulty with (that will be coming up for review next) and be able to test them in your own free time.
So as not to interrupt the spaced repetition if you do get it right or wrong when you do this bonus testing it doesn't affect the SRS algorithm. That is based only upon when the cards are…

Translate both ways when recapping
Currently when recapping words you are given the English (native language) and translate to Italian (language I'm learning). Would be good to be also given the Italian and have to translate to English. Of course, this would work for any of the languages, these are just examples.

Advanced Content Management (create cards on computer, import cards (csv, txt)...)
From Gaetan:
"It would be great to be able to create vocabulary list right from our computer and export them to your devices. This would enable the possibility between users to share lists, and would increase the synergy between the app and regular language class"35 votesHello,
This will be released in the next version of MosaLingua Web.
Thank you all for this suggestion!

Add the phonetic and the stress
English is a phonetic language and when we only start to learn it,we don't really hear the right sound and the stress. We hear the nearest french sound and don't repeat correctly the sentence or the word.
If we can have phonetic writing and also cards to learn phonetic sounds, we could learn the right pronunciation more easily.30 votesHello,
As some of you might have noticed, this has been implemented in the English app.
Thank you!

[APP] Allow addition of images
I would like to be able to add images to cards which I have created to help me to remember those words
27 votesThank you to everyone who voted for this in our poll!
In the next update, you will be able to add a link for the images of your choice for the cards you’ve created.
This won’t be possible on our cards for technical reasons.
The image will only be available if you have internet access on the device the first time you review or learn the card.We hope you enjoy this new feature!

The ability to choose the number of cards to review in a session.
You should have the ability to divide your daily practice in to multiple sessions. I want to learn quickly and would happily to 5 sessions of 5 minutes a day, but instead I have to do all 50 cards at once.

[APP] Hands-free modus
Is very helpful but random logic has no destinction between easy and difficult cards. I suggest that the number of difficult cards can be determined out of the total number of cards defined for a hands-free lesson. It would help to concentrate learning those. This function is for learnt card mode only.
17 votesYou can now choose your favorite cards, those will go in the handsfree mode.

Spanish conjugation sets.
Card sets that go through different verb tenses with different person. This would be especially handy for irregular verbs.

[Lang] Mandarin Chinese
Mandarin Chinese, a language of 2 billion (milliard) native speakers plus those who learned Mandarin Chinese (Putonhua). It would be appreciated by many members to develop this course. Of course the developers have to make the words, the sentences in Pinyin (Latin spelling) with all it's tone pitches on the correct letter (is a necessary must!), under those words, sentences, the English translations.

The app is already available on MosaLingua Web, and will soon be on Android and Apple.

Ask for a clue before giving up (research supported!)
According to studies cited in a podcast (Stuff to Blow Your Mind) about the 'tip of the tongue' effect (https://podcast-delivery.streaming.stufftoblowyourmind.com/sciencelab/2018-03-10-stbym-vault-tip-of-tounge.mp3/2018-03-10-stbym-vault-tip-of-tounge.mp3_a6d112e9e02964986eac84697f44e4af_20466456.mp3?awCollectionId=1004&hash_redirect=1&listeningSessionID=5a83445d35affe0c_3699992_W7Z6vIxV__0000002gGjm) it seems that if you don't get the answer right away, getting the solution will reduce the likelihood of remembering a word the next time it comes up (the more time you have spent trying to find the word, the worse). However, this can be avoided if the word is remembered after only a clue has been given (for example the first letter of the word).
Based on this, I strongly suggest that you add the option of…

In review mode, click on the keyboard on the bottom right, the first clue is seeing all the letters/words, you can then click on the light bulb on the bottom left to have the first letter/word given to you.Happy remembering :)

More mini grammar lessons (English)
It would be nice to integrate more "mini grammar lessons" into the English app.
I personally consider "basic" grammar to be important. Maybe you could first start with the 50 basic grammar lessons (including explanation and exercises) and can also repeat these, if possible, in the form of the flashcards.
I think flashcards are an excellent tool for this. In my opinion, should
the most important "English times" also be found under these "Basics".
Would be nice, if this was possible and could be implemented "step-by-step" in a timely manner.12 votesWe have the grammar pack available in the menu Explore→Optional packs

the ability to slow down the spoken french please.
Sometime the spoken french is too fast for me. It would be easier to learn if I could hear it at a slower pace.
Many thanks9 votesThis is possible in the app's settings.

Accessibilité avec voiceover pour les non-voyants
Rares sont les applications d'apprentissage des langues qui sont accessible pour les non-voyants. De nos jours apprendre une langue eest devenue plus visuel qu'auditif, ce qui me semble bizarre. Une langue, cela se parle! J'aimerais beaucoup que mosalingua soit accessible pour tous pour tous.

Search for a word on online dictionaries - not just Google translate
Google translate sucks... I never use it :-(
So I always end up looking myself on some other dictionaries like "PONS" or "leo.org" (either in the iOS or Android apps, or online).
My suggestion would be pretty fast to implement I guess: in the "Search" option of MosaLingua (where there is right now the "translate with Google translate" option), you could simply add other buttons "translate with PONS", "translate with leo", or others depending on what others use...9 votes -
