An error occurred while saving the comment Komond commentedI vote this and, just for the record, in my case right now I would want it for French (just to be sure that voting for AFI/IPA to a Portuguese comment doesn't mean I want it for Portuguese only).
I have some difficults to really understand the pronunciation of the program and would really appreciate the help of AFI/IPA, really knowing how it's pronounced instead of guessing based on what the program seems to pronounce.

I'm learning French now and I don't like I'm learning to pronounce "petit" but not "petite" for example, all of us will need to use both genders for other people or gender.
For first person it should be adapted to student gender as you say, and for other words it should be pronounced both ways each time or shuffle and ask for them 50/50 each.

Sometimes it's more difficult to find the letters than knowing how to write it. Also, the letters in Mosalingua seems to be a bit small and sometimes it fails to recognize you pressed them. Having the option to change to keyboard would help and also, once you are in higher levels, it would increase the difficulty.
But I also think it should be optional, at the very beginning it helps a lot and motivates, but after some time one starts to feel more confident and would find a full keyboard helpful.
